Being the big Disney fans that we are, Kyle and I are spending our honeymoon in Florida. We will spend a few days in Walt Disney World, and one of those nights will be spent enjoying Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This will be our first time attending the Halloween party, & we are so excited! Because of this, I decided to try my hand at making Minnie Mouse ears. Here is my DIY version. Enjoy!
Supplies
I used my Minnie Mouse ears I bought from the parks as a template for the size of the ears. I made a circle on the foam board, then cut the circles out with a box cutter.
I then did the same thing with the fabric I chose, again using the box cutter to cut out the shapes.
Next, I used a hot glue gun to glue the fabric to the foam board. I found that just gluing the edges instead of putting glue all over the circles makes for a smoother finish.
Using my park bought ears as a guide, I placed the ears in the correct spot on the headband. Use the hot glue to secure the ears to the band (I had really thin headbands. I suggest the thicker ones if you can find them).
Add a bow or any other details you wish, & ta-da!
I think they are really adorable, & I can’t wait to wear them in the parks!
