I recently purchased the NYX Color Correcting Concealer. This stuff is amazing!
Taking notes from art class in elementary school, this concealer uses the color wheel for how to conceal. I use the green on any red spots (acne, pigmentation), and the yellow for blue under-eye circles or veins. Apply your foundation over the concealer. The results? Marvelous!
I also love their Intense Butter Gloss. This color (IBLG11) is the exact one used on my wedding day. It’s a sweet little reminder!

Being the big Disney fans that we are, Kyle and I are spending our honeymoon in Florida. We will spend a few days in Walt Disney World, and one of those nights will be spent enjoying Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This will be our first time attending the Halloween party, & we are so excited! Because of this, I decided to try my hand at making Minnie Mouse ears. Here is my DIY version. Enjoy!
I used my Minnie Mouse ears I bought from the parks as a template for the size of the ears. I made a circle on the foam board, then cut the circles out with a box cutter.
I then did the same thing with the fabric I chose, again using the box cutter to cut out the shapes.
Next, I used a hot glue gun to glue the fabric to the foam board. I found that just gluing the edges instead of putting glue all over the circles makes for a smoother finish.
Using my park bought ears as a guide, I placed the ears in the correct spot on the headband. Use the hot glue to secure the ears to the band (I had really thin headbands. I suggest the thicker ones if you can find them).
Add a bow or any other details you wish, & ta-da!
I think they are really adorable, & I can’t wait to wear them in the parks!
My recent shopping trip resulted in me indulging in the latest purse trend: faux fur keychains!
I think these are the cutest things! Plus, it’s a total throw back to the 90’s. Hello, Cher!
Anything that has the nostalgia factor is perfect in my book! Comment below if you love this trend, too!
I happened upon Henri Bendel purses accidentally. I’d never really heard of them before, and am rather bummed it took me this long to discover them. Since my fiancé and I will be traveling in a few months for our honeymoon, I wanted to get a purse that was both versatile & cute. Insert the Henri Bendel Jetsetter Mini Convertible Backpack!
This little beauty can be worn three different ways (purse, cross body, or backpack) and is water resistant. While it comes in a larger size, I thought my petite frame would look better with the mini. So glad I chose it! The colors are stunning and it looks so high-end. I paid about $180 for it (this included the site discount and a 20% off coupon for joining the email list). Totally worth it! This will make traveling so fun and luxurious!
On a side note, Henri Bendel constantly has sales, so keep on the lookout. Also, the colors of the bags change all the time. If you see one you love, be sure to purchase it ASAP!
Happy 4th of July weekend, everyone! I’m trying my best to keep up with this blog. But the stress & details of planning a wedding are really taking its toll on me. All I can say is for those brides out there wedding planning, I feel your pain!
Now, on to my Target haul! I’ve previously posted on the amazing home décor line that Target has with Joy Cho known as Oh Joy! for Target. She makes the prettiest items that are full of color & life! I have to have colorful things in my home to keep me sane. It just makes me happy to see bright, cheerful items in my home.
Her newest additions to her line are definitely geared towards home items rather than her previous baby décor collection (though I did buy some of those items, no shame. Also, a lot of those items are in clearance, so look out for them. The heart ottoman was on sale for a steal!).
The only item I bought that wasn’t a part of her line is the light up “<3 Tacos” sign. I just thought that was adorable since my fiancé & I enjoy tacos all the time.

My fiancé and I had an engagement session a while back. Our photographer was awesome, & I think he captured some adorable moments! I’m so happy that we have one more thing we can check off our wedding list! You just never realize how much is involved with planning a wedding. I am going to do a whole post on the craziness of everything & where we are. For now, enjoy our pictures & comment below! ❤
Happy Monday, everyone!
Over the weekend I took my usual trip to Marshalls. I almost left with a new Kate Spade bag, but it was white and sadly had a few marks on it. I did, however, leave with some Stila makeup that I’ve been eyeing ever since I started watching YouTube makeup videos. It was beautifully packaged in a gold, metallic box that caught my eye instantly. Inside it had an eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip gloss, liquid luminizer, and a gold bracelet from Baublebar. For $18 I thought it was a steal! I took some swatches & the payoff seems great! The colors are beautiful. This find was awesome!
