I’m currently sitting in the airport waiting to get on a flight back home. It’s been a whirlwind week. I got married, went on our honeymoon, and survived a hurricane! Hurricane aside, we had an amazing time!
I thought I’d do a quick post on my bridal shower. It was absolutely beautiful! My family and friends went above and beyond. Enjoy the pictures!
My fiancé and I had an engagement session a while back. Our photographer was awesome, & I think he captured some adorable moments! I’m so happy that we have one more thing we can check off our wedding list! You just never realize how much is involved with planning a wedding. I am going to do a whole post on the craziness of everything & where we are. For now, enjoy our pictures & comment below! ❤
I survived snow storm Jonas! I hope everyone was safe & warm during this blizzard! Luckily we didn’t end up losing power. Tomorrow will be six days of being cooped up in the house. While I love my apartment, it feels small after almost a week of being snowed in. Tonight, my fiancé & I are going out to eat at a restaurant near by. It will be nice to venture out, because cabin fever is real, & it’s not fun! Rumor has it that another snow storm is on the horizon, set to take place Thursday or Friday. I’m hoping that it’s not anywhere near the amounts of Jonas, so let’s keep our fingers crossed! Some things I did while being cooped up:
Star Wars Trivia Game
Call Of Duty (my fiancé has me hooked)
Trekking through the Snow
Nancy Drew Computer Games
Comment below with how you survived the snow storm! I’m really curious, because other ideas would be great for any future storms! 🙂
I’m engaged!!! I just love saying that! I’m beyond excited to marry my fiancé. We have been together for over seven years, so I’ve been patiently (Impatiently?) waiting for a proposal. Now that that has happened, the real planning begins. I have absolutely no idea about anything for planning our wedding. A few things I’d like:
Not in the winter (summer isn’t preferred, either, though I won’t rule that out just yet)
On a Sunday (I’ve heard through other brides that it is cheaper to marry on a Sunday)
I found this funny, though completely accurate, illustration of planning a wedding. There is so much involved!!!
If you have any tips or words of advice, please comment below! ❤
My New Year started off with an engagement!!!! I’m beyond happy & blessed to be marrying my other half! Hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve!!!
