I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve posted on here! It’s been a crazy fast two months! We got married, went on our honeymoon, moved, & started our lives as newlyweds. It’s been so wonderful!
I thought I’d share some beautiful pictures from our wedding day. I’m so happy with how they turned out!
Thanks so much to Kyle Weaver Photography!
(Be on the lookout for some wedding posts in the near future!)
I am currently procrastinating homework (because who really needs to know about ethics in business?) by writing this blog post & listening to 1989. My life in a nutshell. Anyway, I was thinking about my wardrobe, and I realized that I have quite a few classics that I feel every woman should own.
Over the years, I have collected quite a few blazers. I really feel like you cannot have enough of this item. Blazers can easily be mixed & matched, dressed up or down.
2. Wrap Dress
This type of dress is universally flattering. Made famous by Diane Von Furstenberg, the wrap dress will make any woman feel good!
3. Flow-y Top
I have gotten so many complements on my Lauren Conrad Heart Blouse. Flow-y tops are very forgiving, but still offer a slimming silhouette.
4. Dark Wash Jeans
When buying jeans, try going for a darker wash. This allows for a slimming effect. Plus, the darker color goes with any top you wish to wear!
1. The Way We Were
I have watched this movie so many times! I just love K-k-k-Katie and Hubbell! And Katie’s tearful phone call to Hubbell is one of the best scenes! And of course, “Your girl is lovely, Hubbell.”
2. Penny Serenade
This little-known Cary Grant film is just the sweetest! I learned about it from my grandma. One of the best scenes is Grant trying to persuade lawyers to keep his adopted daughter. Fair warning, you’ll need tissues by the end!
3. Cloud Atlas
This film you may want to watch more than once. It is very deep and fast-paced, but beautifully told. Taking on themes of love, reincarnation, and human survival, you will be mesmerized!
4. An Affair To Remember
Another Cary Grant classic! I want to visit the Empire State Building because of this movie! Watch and you will know why!
5. City Of Angels
Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage at their finest! The end breaks my heart! “One.”
6. Imitation Of Life
This movie will make you appreciate your mom. And realize that fame and fortune isn’t everything.
7. Sleepless In Seattle
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are so great in this film! And when Hanks talks about how he met his wife who passed, “It was like coming home…It was like magic.”
8. Almost Famous
Set in the 70’s with a young Kate Hudson. The fashion, the music, the fame! Almost. 😉
9. Across The Universe
Beatles songs set to a great storyline! “All You Need Is Love” at the end is my favorite scene!
10.Breakfast At Tiffany’s
Audrey Hepburn. Little black dresses. Tiffany’s. Enough said. 🙂
