Gilmore Girls is coming back, & I couldn’t be more excited! Thanks to Netflix, this beautiful show is getting a revival. I recently went to Netflix and saw this beauty:
AHHH!!! So excited!!! In honor of this wonderful show, I recreated the Gilmore Girls living room, along with various references. Can you spot them all?? Comment below!
I’m a big fan of HGTV, & many times I have it on in the background while cleaning. I love learning new design ideas & tips. Many of the shows I watch on HGTV have beautiful after results that really inspire me to redo & add to my apartment. Two shows I watch daily are Fixer Upper and Flip or Flop.
Fixer Upper is set in Texas, and features a husband & wife team, Chip and Joanna Gaines. They take clients through the process of fixing up an older home, resulting in beautiful remodeled homes.
There style is more on the rustic side, but with a modern take. While not my complete design esthetic, they give great advice & ideas.
The other show that I have on constantly is Flip or Flop. This show features another husband & wife team, Christina and Tarek El Moussa, who seek out rundown homes in California that they buy then flip for a profit.
Their decorating is way more my style. Totally modern, sleek, & clean. I love the whites, grays, & cool tones used throughout their houses. Also, Christina is totally a fashion/beauty inspiration (can I have her purses??).
Comment below if you watch these shows!
Be still my heart! Gilmore Girls is reportedly coming back with a mini-series! With so many revivals of old TV shows, I am beyond happy about this one!
Lauren Graham had this to say on Twitter, which to me means something is in the works:
Fingers Crossed!!! ❤
I’m a big TV junkie, so it doesn’t take much for me to watch a show. With that said, when House of DVF came on E! Network, I was totally hooked!
If you didn’t know, DVF stands for Diane Von Furstenberg. She is a beyond amazing fashion designer famous for her wrap dresses. These dresses are simply lovely, offering a flattering fit & style to anyone’s shape.
Now, the premise of the show is for Diane to search for, and ultimately find, a new employee fit for her brand & company. I love how Diane speaks her mind so bluntly.
She is rather hilarious in that aspect. But she also knows when someone isn’t a perfect fit, & when someone needs a little push or advice to seek their full potential.
I think this show is so great for all the fashionistas out there. It gives you a lot of different insight into the fashion world. From design, to sales, to runway shows.
Check it out every Sunday at 10pm on E! Network!
Downton Abbey season six officially wrapped recently. This will be the final season of the show, & while there are talks of a potential movie in the works (wouldn’t that be fabulous??), I know better than to get my hopes up too high. I really love this show, & I think it has been beautifully made. Here are a few pictures from the final season to tide you over until the U.S. airing in January 2016. The feels! ❤
I’m a big TV junkie, but I’m a little picky with what I watch. A TV show has to be different in some way, with the ability to keep my interest with each new episode. Since it is summer, I’m re-watching old shows & giving new ones a chance. One of the shows I’m currently watching is AMC’s Humans.
“In a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a ‘Synth’ – a highly-developed robotic servant that’s so similar to a real human it’s transforming the way we live.”
In essence, we have created robots (Synths, Synthetics) that look human. They are created to help make our lives easier. The catch is that some of the Synths have human personalities, with the ability to feel & make logical decisions.
What I love about this show is that you know this is the near future. This is something that could potentially happen if our technology continues to develop. This show also makes you question morality. The robots are so real, in appearance & actions, that you begin to think of them as human. You begin to feel like they need to be treated with respect & decency, even though they are robots.
I think the cast is really great, specifically Gemma Chan who plays Anita, the main Synth. She is both beautiful & talented.
My only issue with this show is the accents get a little thick at times.

At Comic Con last week, AMC released both The Walking Dead Season 6 & Fear The Walking Dead trailers. Talk about intense! I am beyond excited for both series!!
