I survived snow storm Jonas! I hope everyone was safe & warm during this blizzard! Luckily we didn’t end up losing power. Tomorrow will be six days of being cooped up in the house. While I love my apartment, it feels small after almost a week of being snowed in. Tonight, my fiancé & I are going out to eat at a restaurant near by. It will be nice to venture out, because cabin fever is real, & it’s not fun! Rumor has it that another snow storm is on the horizon, set to take place Thursday or Friday. I’m hoping that it’s not anywhere near the amounts of Jonas, so let’s keep our fingers crossed! Some things I did while being cooped up:
Star Wars Trivia Game
Call Of Duty (my fiancé has me hooked)
Trekking through the Snow
Nancy Drew Computer Games
Comment below with how you survived the snow storm! I’m really curious, because other ideas would be great for any future storms! 🙂
Happy Wednesday, everyone! Here is the outfit I wore to work yesterday. I thought it looked really cute, simple, & warm considering it recently turned into a winter tundra.
Sweater: Old Navy
Jeans: American Eagle Outfitters
Necklace: Banana Republic
Here is a cute summer outfit that is so easy to put together!
Shirt & Shorts: Old Navy
Flip Flops: Lilly Pulitzer for Target
Purse: Kate Spade
Yesterday I went shopping with my parents & bestie, Liz. I always love shopping trips, but recently I’ve been bummed by the selections at stores. I’m not sure if it is because of the time of year (after Christmas but not close enough to Spring to restock the shelves), or if it is something else altogether. Either way, I left with one item, from clearance at Old Navy. While I don’t like to buy stuff just because, and on most shopping trips I don’t leave with much of anything, browsing is half the fun! Has anyone else felt like shopping right now is somewhat non-existent?
Shirt: Old Navy. Jacket: Guess. Jeans: American Eagle. Purse: Coach.
Walking with Poppy. ❤
Last night I had dinner at Carrabba’s with my grandparents & my brother Josh. The food was really good, & they bring you bread with olive oil. It is delish!
Chicken Marsala with a side of broccoli. I also got a House salad, minus the olives.
I had a fairly busy weekend. First, I got my hair done on Saturday. I have such a hard time getting the color blonde I like. My hairdresser was able to give me a more even blonde color, minus the copper/red that was happening at the roots. It looks fabulous!
Shirt: Old Navy. Jeans: American Eagle. Boots: UGG.
I’m also really liking red lips at the moment. My favorite red lip color is NYC City Proof in Round The Clock Ruby. It lasts so long, & is very easy to apply.
Saturday evening I had a ladies dinner that my Aunt & Cousin plan every month. The restaurant was The Foxy Fish. It was so fun, & the food was delicious!
I had a paper due for my business ethics course this weekend, as well. Nothing major, just not the most fun thing to do. Overall, my weekend was great! Now, I have Thanksgiving to look forward to. I can’t believe it is only a few days away! 🙂
