Pictures From The Last Season of “Downton Abbey!”

Downton Abbey season six officially wrapped recently. This will be the final season of the show, & while there are talks of a potential movie in the works (wouldn’t that be fabulous??), I know better than to get my hopes up too high. I really love this show, & I think it has been beautifully made. Here are a few pictures from the final season to tide you over until the U.S. airing in January 2016. The feels! ❤

Jimmy Choo’s Cinderella Glass Slippers!

A few days ago I wrote a post about Jimmy Choo designing Cinderella’s glass slipper. All that was given at the time was a gorgeous sketch, which you can see here. But now we have the first look at these gorgeous shoes, worn by Lily James who portrays Cinderella in the new upcoming Disney movie.

These shoes are beyond gorgeous! They are a work of art!

On a side note, I hardly recognized Lily James with her darker hair. I’m so used to her look on Downton Abbey that I thought this was a different actress!

Weekend To-Do List!

weekend

I’m lucky enough to have a three day weekend! I don’t know why, but having that extra day always makes me feel like I can do so much more than when I have two days off. This weekend also has the possibility of snow (it is sleeting now). Since I’ll be stuck inside most of the weekend, I thought it would be a good idea to make a to-do list.

Weekend To-Do List:

1. Clean my room, thoroughly.

2. Organize my closet.

3. Do laundry.

4. Clean my bathroom.

5. Listen to some of my records.

6. Watch a few old movies.

7. Catch the new episode of Downton Abbey on Sunday.

8. Finish the book I’m reading, Being Audrey Hepburn.

What are you doing this weekend??

Downton Abbey Returns Tomorrow!

I simply love the British television show Downton Abbey! While I’ve loved and lost many beloved characters on this show, I still wait every January for the new season. Sadly, the U.S. doesn’t get the newest season until the following year in January. But tomorrow I can watch the first new episode of season 5!!

Season 5

I’ll be honest, it’s been so long since I watched Downton, I may need to do a marathon tomorrow of season 4 (yes, I own all seasons!).

Are you excited for season 5 of Downton Abbey??

Top Ten Favorite TV Shows!

I love watching television shows! Here are my top ten favorites, both old and new, in no particular order!

1. One Tree Hill

one_tree_hill

Basketball, love, and revenge. I love this show because it has characters you can root for, and is rather emotional for a teen show.

2. Friends

If you haven’t seen this show yet, you need to! There are plenty of reruns to catch, but I recommend starting from the beginning. This show will make you laugh every time (I still laugh, and I have seen every episode ten times)!

3. Gilmore Girls

gilmore_girls

Ah, the Gilmore Girls. Coffee; quick, witty banter; small town charm; and love are the elements of this show. The pop culture references alone will keep your interest!

4. Gossip Girl

Revenge, beautiful people, and beautiful clothes (I wish I dressed this good!) make for this great guilty pleasure!

Love Downton Abbey...Love just about everything on Masterpiece....I'm hooked!

1900’s style, etiquette, and money is the basis for this show. I feel like I learn something while watching this show (so it’s okay that it’s a guilty pleasure, right?). Plus, the British accents are swoon-worthy!
