Last Minute Christmas Décor!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Since we are away on vacation, my family & I had to compromise on Christmas decorations. However, I think we did a pretty nice job considering we couldn’t bring much from home. My advice is to use a pop-up tree, & use your stockings and Christmas hats as part of your décor. Even though this was last minute decorating, I think it looks adorable, plus anything Christmas themed looks magical. 🙂

Gift Ideas For Everyone Else!

Gift Ideas For Everyone Else!
~~~
Most of us have our Christmas presents bought. But there is always that one person(s) that we forget, or don’t realize we needed a gift for until the last minute. Maybe it’s a coworker, your hairdresser, a family member. Whoever they may be, you need a gift but have no idea what. I’ve compiled a few gift ideas for everyone else on your list that you may have forget to buy for. Enjoy!
~~~
1. Cookies In a Jar
This one works for men or women. Who doesn’t like cookies, plus the packaging is adorable!
2. Bath & Body Works Hand Cream
In the Winter months, you can never have enough hand cream. Bath & Body Works always has nice, seasonal products to pick from.
3. Candle
I’m a firm believer that with candles, the more the merrier! Christmas scented ones are always nice!
4. Bath & Body Hand Soap
This is a good gift if you have no idea what a person likes. For example, your boss. The gesture is nice, plus the Christmas packaging is cute!
5. Popcorn Tin
This one works great for guys you need gifts for. The tin is cool for when the popcorn is gone, & of course the flavored popcorn is always a hit!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…When I was driving home from work yesterday, there were tiny flakes of snow falling!!! It was so cold that I wish I had a sweater on. That brings me to this post.
I’ve always wanted to attend an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. I think it is so fun, & it is hilarious to see what people come up with! One year my parents made their own ugly Christmas sweaters. They had my family & I rolling on the floor from laughter!
That’s the thing, you don’t have to pay high dollar to get a sweater like this. While there are sites and stores where you can buy them, paying no more than a few dollars for these types of items is what I’m about. My advice is to either make your own, or browse thrift stores for them. My Mom was able to find an ugly sweater for every member of our family, all for less than $5 a piece. That’s what I call a bargain!

I hope you like these ugly sweater ideas! Have you been to an ugly Christmas sweater party??

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I feel like the holiday season is in full swing! Our Christmas tree is up, looking very pretty! The weather is cold, which means my scarves are being used in abundance. Also, my morning coffee tastes just a tad better with this cold weather. This weekend is rainy, so I spent most of today cleaning. Not the most fun, but I feel accomplished! My college class is almost over, I have a paper due next weekend. Ugh. That’s on my to-do list for tomorrow. I want to get it out of the way, because next weekend my boyfriend graduates from college! I’m so proud of him, & he worked so hard to get his degree. I feel like my life is headed for a lot of change. So much is happening in the next few weeks…

I’m also hoping to do a little shopping soon. I’ve been saving my money for a while, & I want to have some fun shopping. Plus, all the Christmas deals are hard to beat! I still have a few gifts to purchase for family & friends. It’s so hard to shop for family and friends sometimes. Either they don’t need anything specific, or you have vague ideas of what they would like, but you aren’t sure. I figure if it comes from the heart, the gift doesn’t matter. ❤ On a side note, I’m really enjoying blogging. I never imaged I’d have so many followers. This is just something I try to do in my spare time, so the fact that others read what I say is inspiring. Love you all! 🙂
