I remember watching the opening scene from Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Holly Golightly, played by Audrey Hepburn, is walking down the streets of New York in her Givenchy dress. She stands at the Tiffany’s window with her coffee & Danish, all the while looking like the epitome of elegance in her black dress. That’s the moment I realized the importance of a little black dress.
With the ability to show the best parts of a woman, as well as minimize the parts we wish to hide, the little black dress is a wardrobe staple. The best part is you can tailor it to your taste, such as cut-outs, embellishments, or added detail!
